about

This is a strange and difficult collection of material. It has been gestating (or fermenting given the title and subject matter) for a few years now. I don't know that it all works as intended, but I thought it best to get things out the door and clear the deck so to speak.

Cheers is a song cycle about drinking too much, regret, and reflection. The Cheers segments (I through IV) represent real time bits of a hangover while the other parts are flashbacks to the night before.

Perhaps some of you have experienced this situation. Certainly I have over the years.

It is just one 28-minute track and is best listened to as such. There are individual sections though. They are:

1. Cheers I (00:00 to 02:27)
2. 5 to 5 (02:28 to 07:18)
3. Cheers II (07:19 to 09:34)
4. Let's Roll The Tape (09:35 to 13:58)
5. Last Call (13:59 to 17:48)
6. Cheers III (17:49 to 20:33)
7. 4 AM Bar (20:34 to 26:05)
8. Cheers IV (26:07 to 28:13)
